I am so pleased with how this quilt is going.

My thoughts are to add a narrow boarder in the Kona Snow and then squares or rectangles of the 1930's fabric as the final boarder.

Then again, maybe I ought to just leave it as it is now...

What would you do?

  1. I love it the way it is! Amazing job!!!

  2. It's wonderful! I would do the border.

  3. I love it! No matter what you do with it, it will look wonderful!

  4. I'm partial to pinwheels, and love your fabric selection. I'm looking for 1930's fabric in pastels for a baby quilt. Can you plese tell me where you got your fabric, and who makes it? Thank much! -Chris

  5. Your pinwheels are really wonderful! I'd go for the border, it will be like putting all those pinwheels in a frame!

  6. This is a beautiful quilt and you did a beautiful job! A plain (not too wide) border of any of the fabrics you used would be nice, but personally I like simplicity and would bind it without a border. Just my $.02!

  7. It looks great the way it is but I think it would also look great with a stop border and a pieced border. I can't wait to see it finished!

  8. I agree with your original thought - a white border with blocks of the 1930's prints... that will tie it all together.

  9. Wow! Thanks for all of your input!

I haven't made up my mind on how to finish it yet. I have several other projects I need to get done, so it will have to wait a bit.

  10. I don't know how I'd finish the border, but I DO know that this quilt is great!

  11. I like it without border. If you do border, I'd make it a solid or simple print...not too fussy. That is gorgeous whatever you do.

  12. Hi, Amy~

I wish I could rattle off what you should do to it, but alas, poor Laura, is border challenged! lol

The quilt will be gorgeous no matter what you do!
