Strings

It's all ready to be quilted...I have to say, I am pretty proud of myself for making a truly scrappy quilt. =)  I think it fits in the low volume(ish) category, too, don't you?

  1. It is GORGEOUS!!! I SO want to make a low volume quilt. But I have a few others that I need to make first...isn't that always the way?

  2. So pretty! Someday I might manage to produce something truly scrappy, but that will probably be when scrappy is not long trending. I'm always behind!

  7. Just truly gorgeous. I absolutely love it. I made about 100 six inch string blocks years ago, but gave them to a friend when I moved long distance. Wish I hadn't, but I know Jan made something wonderful with them and donated the quilt to charity (which she often does). This makes me want to string piece like that again. I'm sure you remembered every quilt block you made with each scrap - these sorts of quilts do that to us. Blessings on you as I suspect you are having some challenges in your life right now and quilting is the Balm in Gilead for you.
