First Finish of 2011

1.01.2011

A project I began last summer...Make Life Disappearing 9 Patch

I have to say, using the technique of  a faux piped binding is my favorite way to finish a quilt. You can find Trisha's  tutorial @ TLC Stitches.

  3. What a great-looking quilt!
I had plans to finish the binding on 2 quilts today - one is a disappearing 9-patch too! - and also hoped to finish my MIL's (late) Christmas gift, participate in an online mystery quilt project, and catch up on my layer-cake quilt blocks.
Well.... my MIL's gift is done (I should have pics up soon!)! I haven't managed to find my layer-cake yet, the binding hasn't been touched, and I got the fabrics cut out for the mystery quilt project - and that's it! Wait - I did a bit of tidying in my craft room...
